The Life and Times of Lilly the Lash

The Life and Times of Lilly the Lash is a series of fascinating children's books in which an eyelash teaches life lessons and the importance of strong self-esteem. In book one of the series, The Garden Gathering, Lilly the Lash finds her very first mission in a garden, where a big, beautiful sunflower struggles with her size, unable to recognize the importance of her own self-worth. Lilly, only ever noticed by the listener, sends in a tiny soccer-playing spider to help her realize that no matter what our differences are, we all have value! 

 In book two of the series, The Toy Store, Lilly the Lash finds herself in New York City, where a young boy’s access to every toy imaginable leaves him feeling saddened and alone, due to his inability to create friendships through the value of sharing. Lilly, only ever seen by the listener, sends in a loving, soulful child to help him recognize that sharing is part of what makes every experience in life so worth living. 

In book three of the series, Ocean Commotion, Lilly the Lash finds herself in the town of Rockin’ Reef, where the mysterious disappearance of store items leaves an entire community in distress and a young octopus pursuing the merits of honesty. Lilly, only ever seen by the listener, sends in a cool and caring shrimp to help the octopus realize the effects of her actions, prompting her to stand tall, accept responsibility, and set things straight!

Lilly the Lash finds herself in the quaint country village of Cobblestone Cove, where the insecure feelings of a young milk carton spawn outbursts of bullying behavior, leaving the important value of respect hanging in the balance. Lilly, only ever heard by the listener, sends in a wise and compassionate cream cake to help the milk carton, and the others understand how to successfully give and gain respect.

Lilly the Lash finds herself in the lush and lavish town of Tree Bark Falls, where a young monkey’s idea to generate additional income for the community is clouded by greed and quickly turns disastrous. Lilly, only ever heard by the listener, sends in a gentle, nature-loving bear to help the villagers recognize their error in judgment, and provide the guidance needed to restore precious balance to their town.
