What if the Bible were not complete? What if something existed, so beneficial to mankind that it had been intentionally omitted in order to protect its existence through complete secrecy? Have you ever wondered if the Bermuda Triangle is for real or just a place of unlikely mishaps? The citizens of Fordyce, New Mexico, have often wondered that about their Sonoma Quadrant. No airplanes have ever disappeared in the quadrant. No ships have ever disappeared there either, for the quadrant, as close as anyone has been able to determine, is a 36 square mile area in the middle of a desolate desert area known as the Sonoma.

On Friday, June 21, Detective Simon Farge, chief investigator with the Plainsland Police Department's Missing Persons Division, opened an envelope, addressed in pencil and bearing no return address. The content of the envelope was a short letter, also written in pencil, on three-hole notebook paper. The handwriting appeared to be that of a child, still learning the art of cursive, and of course, unsigned. The note was short and to the point. "Dear Mr. Farge, Look for Sally Morgan in Overland Park in a trailer by the lake."
