Growing up in a coven with only one other shifter doesn’t allow Arik much of an opportunity to find his mate, and he doesn’t know when or where he’ll find him. When dreams about his mate start interrupting his sleep, he’s content to wait for them to find each other. That is, until he dreams that his mate is in danger. Alpha War has all but given up on ever finding his true mate. He’s looked for centuries. Ryker loves his job as a Park Ranger. It allows his bear the time he demands outside, even if it’s not always in bear form. When he gets offered the position of head ranger in Flathead National Forest, he’s hesitant at first, but his bear all but demands he go. He learned long ago to always listen to the cranky beast, so he agrees. Never did he expect that his Kodiak was telling him he’d find his fated mate there, but the cute, little warlock smells like theirs.  

Since Grayson was a young cub in Alaska, he’s always wanted to be a park ranger. But when a rogue alpha attacks their small den unexpectedly, Grayson’s alpha father manages to get some of his family as well as two other families out of their village unnoticed. They flee for their lives, and head in the direction of Honey Creek in hopes of finding a welcoming den. Park Ranger Jai wasn’t happy about getting relocated to Flathead Lake Park in Montana but he had to go where the Park Service sent him. Once there, his bear felt happy and content.
