When former journalist Jessica Hart returned home to the idyllic small town of Grace, Texas, she never expected to become a suspect in a murder investigation. Jessica’s life has taken a detour. After losing her job and her marriage, she returned to her hometown to get back on her feet. She began a lifestyle blog and took a job as a church receptionist. 

Freelance journalist Jessica Hart is excited to co-write her first magazine cover story with celebrity lifestyle maven Donna Vance, the Queen of Texas Chic. Their assignment is to cover the Valentine’s Day wedding of former Miss Texas, Chace Perez. Never mind that the groom just happens to be Jess’ ex-husband. Things are going well until the night of the bachelorette party. Jess discovers a body, the body of Donna Vance, dead from arsenic poisoning. There’s a killer on the loose. Now it’s up to Jess to keep the wedding on track.
