Court Legacy

The Legacy boys are Windsor Preparatory Academy’s most privileged. No one crosses the devil spawn of this town’s upper echelon, but I managed. I call one of them out my first day, and no one hears it louder than their blond prince.

The news about what happened to Dorian’s uncle rocks the town. Especially when a private school’s educator turns up dead. The focus surrounding the events that occurred that night shift, and no one knows that more than the legacy boys’ dark prince. Dorian’s looking for answers in the hours following the harrowing truths revealed in that video. We both are, and where we each end up finding them surprises no one more than me. When what’s lie and what’s truth suddenly appears indistinguishable, I find myself in a chillingly familiar place.

I’m a headline in the town of Maywood Heights and known by a name I’ve never heard. They tell me I was taken, stolen, but none of this makes sense. I’m not who they say I am. I’m not a…twin, but even those close to me seem to believe the rumors swarming around me. 

Ares “Wolf” Mallick has it out for me. He’s one of four self-imposed gods at Pembroke University, and unfortunately for me, I was on his radar well before that. He single-handedly blames me for ruining his junior year of high school, and three years later, he’s come to collect. He says I owe him. He says he owns me, and he’s determined to destroy everything I’m working toward unless I bend to his will. He wants someone he can control and gives very few details beyond the initial ask. If he wants someone he can control, though, he’s howling in the wrong place. 

Ares “Wolf” Mallick ripped my heart out. He ground it into mush and didn’t even grant me the courtesy of a goodbye. He just left me. He left and said our relationship, fake or otherwise, meant nothing to him.
