Dragons. Faeries. Magic. Rednecks. This ain't your daddy's fairy tale. Unless your daddy was a defensive end for the Georgia Bulldogs. In the third installment of the Bubba in Fairyland saga, Bubba and his band of merry men and women are still on the hunt for his missing sister. Bubba is hired by the Department of Homeland Security to guard some relics in Charlotte, but there's more going on than there seems. Doesn't DHS have Quincy Harker, a mostly capable wizard type, right there in Charlotte? And Isn't Bubba blacklisted from working for the government after DEMON decided they wanted to kill him? And didn't he smear vampire guts all over College Street that last time he was in Charlotte?

He's no stranger to blood. His uncle is Count Dracula, the most famous vampire in history, after all. But what he finds in a quiet North Carolina family home rocks even the jaded Quincy Harker. Families are being slaughtered, butchered like animals, and it seems like the loving fathers are to blame.

Bubba the Monster Hunter is back from Fairyland and trying to figure out how he fits into the normal(ish) world again. He's got a job as a bouncer at the Don't Drop Inn, but that all goes up in smoke (way too literally) when his newest case comes waltzing in the front door with a mini zombie apocalypse in tow!

Well, not really. But kinda. Bubba's hitting the road to to help a friend when Uncle Father Joe calls for aid. Bubba rolls into Orlando to help out the defrocked priest and his scientist/were-gator girlfriend, and ends up stumbling into something much bigger than even that giant lizard's cloaca! Somebody's hunting cryptids, and it ain't him, so he needs to find out what's going on back in them swamps, and why suddenly everybody is named Director Shaw?!?

The vampire count in Charlotte is at least three. Or more. As far as the unhappy boys are concerned, anything more than two is a crowd not to be tolerated. While tracking down the killer and the competition, they encounter coeds, booby traps (not related to the coeds), and a hirsute bounty hunter with a moon fetish and a bad attitude. To catch the killer, Jimmy will have to survive a dive headfirst into the great unwashed horde of Dorkdom (game night at the local comic shop).

Bubba's fought a dragon. He's had a dance-off in a faerie castle. He's dealt with his psychotic grandmother and neglectful grandpa (That's Mab and Oberon, in case you're trying to keep track). Now he has to face down the toughest challenge of them all, and he has to do it alone.

Darrell Scott said it best when he said country music sounds tired, but it doesn't sound Haggard, that is has money, but it doesn't have Cash. Well, Bubba is visited by the Ghosts of Music Past, Present, and Yet to Come in a Christmas Carol-style romp guided by legends of song to save Music from Auto-Tune Hell, literally!

"Cold case" takes on a whole new meaning when vampire detectives risk life and limbs (literally) to connect a series of decades-old kidnappings in Charlotte with current missing persons cases. All clues lead through the veil of Faerieland to the legendary Goblin's Market, a magical bazaar where anything is available - for a price.

Bubba and Uncle Father Joe head to the happiest place in the world to find out what's messing up Joe's ex-girlfriend's career making a museum exhibition of monster and demon summoning apparatus. Yeah - haunted magical objects from all over the world, all stuck in the same place. What could go wrong? Turns out the answer is plenty, and Bubba is going to need all the help he can get to survive this one.

Murders are happening outside Charlotte's hottest nightspots. A new vampire society has set up shop in the sewers. And Jimmy Black's about to run afoul of the Master of the City. If Jimmy weren't already a vampire, the week ahead would be the death of him.
