Intergalactic war has now become a reality. The Originators and the Eternals are locked in a titanic battle to determine the fate of the known universe. The Confederation has decided that Earth represents a significant danger to their future plans of Empire. A massive fleet is dispatched to destroy the Solar System and every Human on its planets, moons, and asteroids. If the Solar System falls, the fledging Human Empire will have no chance of survival. Admiral Reynolds is tasked with defending the Solar System and preserving as many Human lives as possible. He knows he faces a nearly impossible task as he does not have the ships needed to stop the coming attack.

To the Kleese, the Earth is nothing more than a planet full of conscripts to fight in their numerous wars of aggression. The Kleese are one of three large Galactic Empires that control the majority of the galaxy. To them, Earth is an extremely dangerous planet due to the aggressiveness of the humanoid species that inhabits it. The humans that inhabit Earth will make excellent conscripts, but something must be done to prevent them from expanding out into the galaxy.

Two more years have passed for the Lost Fleets trapped in the Triangulum Galaxy. It's becoming more apparent with each passing day that the Dyson Sphere of the Simulins must be destroyed if Fleet Admiral Jeremy Strong and his people want to survive.

For six years the solar system has been safe from attack, as the Kleese and the Strell fought a war for galactic domination. For over 30 years, there has been no word or sign of the Zaltule. The Zaltule are the warrior caste of the Kleese and the most dangerous race in existence. In a battle that nearly destroyed the solar system, the Zaltule were driven from human space. Now, they are back and more deadly than ever. If they are not stopped, the humans and their allies will be destroyed or forced into slavery.

The Human Federation of Worlds thought they were alone in the galaxy. But now an alien spacecraft has appeared over one of their distant mining operations. The frightened miners immediately call for help to deal with this worrisome first contact situation. Admiral Streth is sent to implement talks with the aliens and to find out what they want. The aliens inform the admiral that they are called Hocklyns and are from a large multi-world trading federation.

Deep in the Confederation, Rear Admiral Fulmar heads toward his mission of destroying all Lamothian planets. As long as he can avoid the large Lamothian fleet, he can accomplish his task. If only the Lamothians had heeded High Princess Layla’s warning to stop their barbaric feasts where humans are the delicacy consumed, then perhaps things would have turned out differently. The war against the Kleese intensifies as the human-led Alliance attempts a daring attack against the heart of the Kleese Empire. If the mission succeeds, it will be a great victory for the Alliance. If it fails, it will mean the end of freedom for all the races of the galaxy and the end of human life.
