  • Four points out of six in Halifax ain't too bad
    Jun 16 2025

In our weekend recap episode we talk about the Calgary Wild's match vs AFC Toronto and Cavalry FC's game vs HFX Wanderers. The Wild's match was a bit frustrating and ended in a loss. Cavalry is likely somewhat satisfied with the draw and getting 4 out of 6 points in their two visits to Halifax this season.

We also review matches from League One Alberta and preview the matches scheduled for Tuesday.

Our final segment gives an update about a former Cavalry player. Myer Bevan is currently at the Club World Cup and recently got to play against Bayern Munich.

Cavalry FC is in Halifax for a game vs the Wanderers also on Saturday afternoon. We preview the match, talk about the departure of Jesse Daley and how the Cavs' international players like Shamit Shome and Caniggia Elva did in the FIFA window.

There is another full slate of League One Alberta matches on Friday and we discuss some of the interesting matchups.

Our last segment talks about Sam Adekugbe and his Achilles injury. It's going to be a very long road back for him to get on the pitch again.
