The Rest is Entertainment

Although I do not watch much television, I like Richard Osman's books, so decided to give this a try. I do enjoy this overall but Marina Hyde seems determined to say everything as quickly as possible - I believe the word is gabbles... It makes listening to her both distracting and stressful.

That said, if you like television, music, theatre, books, this is an interesting listen, but I don't listen to any other podcast in which a presenter seems so determined to say as much as possible as quickly as possible. If she slowed down, it would be much more listenable.

Very funny, very informed, very good!

Absolutely LOVED this new podcast! Two of my favourite people as presenters, who are as clever as they are funny. They don’t just review different shows - you get insightful thoughts on production and background. They spar off each other perfectly - and was listening with a big smile on my face. Can’t wait for the next episode!

Topical banter with personality & punch

Hosts are both charming, knowledgeable and straight talking on all things entertainment. Natural rapport between both too

Balanced, funny, clever, and entertaining

Richard and Marina are the best; wonderful chemistry (platonic), always insightful, interesting, fun, and thought-provoking. I love the frequent ’insider’ glimpses into TV, journalism, writing, and movies.
