    Please Note the LISTENER DISCLAIMER!!!

Episode Description: In this episode of the Be A Better You Podcast, we’re exploring the deep-seated belief that so many people carry—“Why can’t I ever be good enough?” that was shared by a listener. This thought often leads to cycles of rumination, especially for those who have experienced narcissistic or emotional abuse. If you’ve found yourself constantly replaying moments, questioning your worth, or feeling like you’re never quite “enough,” this episode is for you.

Through a powerful personal story, I share the moment when I was faced with this belief in my own life. During my marriage, I constantly found myself striving to be “good enough” for my ex, even when it felt like nothing would ever satisfy him. In this episode, I recount a particularly emotional experience that is proof that when you ruminate on "not good enough" you may turn to unbecoming or harmful behaviors just to feel worthy.

    ***Listener Disclaimer:
This episode contains an emotionally charged story involving the death of an animal. I know this may be upsetting to some listeners, so please take care as you listen. My goal is to share this story as a way to shed light on the deeper struggles behind rumination, but I want you to feel prepared for this content in case it’s a sensitive topic for you.

What You’ll Learn in This Episode:

    • How feelings of “not being good enough” create a loop of rumination.
    • How that rumination can lead to unwanted and harmful behaviors.
    • Why this belief keeps us tied to past events and emotional pain.
    • How to start recognizing and questioning the subconscious beliefs that fuel rumination.
    • A reflection exercise to help you identify the core beliefs behind your own recurring thoughts.

Plus: Join me on December 11 at 7 PM EST for a special Break Free from Rumination training session, where I’ll teach you specific tools to stop rumination and uncover the beliefs keeping you stuck. After the training, you can also join an exclusive $10 discovery upgrade session to get personalized help uncovering your own unique patterns.
