  • Episode 393 - The Eunuch Maker
    Apr 3 2025

In one of our most horrifying episodes yet, we look at a man who clamped and amputated the genitals of potentially hundreds of men, and carried out unimaginable sexual torture – all from his basement flat in North London.

But what makes this story truly unbelievable is that every one of those victims wanted for it to happen. They belonged to a secretive community of 'nullos' – people who fantasise about the removal of sexual organs. And each procedure was filmed and streamed for a waiting online community of tens of thousands of members. There, disembodied penises and testicles were auctioned off… and even eaten. It’s time to discover the savage online empire of the Eunuch Maker.

  • Listen Now: Amanda Knox on How Do You Cope?
    Apr 2 2025

How do you cope when you’re sentenced to life in prison for a crime you didn’t commit?

On How Do You Cope?, John Robins speaks to writer and activist Amanda Knox, who was wrongfully incarcerated for the murder of Meredith Kercher at the age of just 22. Amanda spent a total of 4 years in an Italian jail before she was exonerated by Italy’s highest court in 2015.

In a wide-ranging and candid conversation, Amanda talks about the methods she used, and the hope she leaned on, in order to get through her time behind bars. She discusses the unacknowledged misogyny at the heart of her case, and reflects on the ways Meredith’s death haunts her to this day.

Compelling True Crime Podcast

Red Handed is currently my favourite true crime podcast. The hosts (Hannah and Suruthi) choose interesting cases and give a well researched and concise rundown of the facts and chat in an accessible and often funny way. The humour never seems inappropriate and the pair are very likeable.

My only minor gripe would be the sound quality of the earlier episodes. When Suruthi in particular is speaking her pronunciation of words containing ‘s’ sounds are so high pitched and uncomfortable to listen to I’ve had to skip quite a few episodes. This isn’t a problem later on so they must have addressed this. It seriously sounds like a kettle boiling.

Love love love!

Really love your podcast! I’ve loved listening to you from the start, although as a woodwind player (flute!) I don’t get how you’ve never heard a clarinet as an adult?!?! 🤣🤣🤣

Really worth a listen

I am so late to the game here. A friend recommended this to me, and it's so good! The presenters are brilliant, and even cases I've listened to prior to this podcast I've learnt more about. I started right back at the start, and I am already nearly 100 episodes in. It's really worth a listen!

Just Brilliant !!

Only 25 episodes in but I absolutely LOVE that I have finally found a podcast about True Crime that does more than just tell you about the fact of these cases.

it's like listening to two friends having an honest chat about these crimes in a very real and very funny way. keeps the topics light enough that it's engaging all the way through without becoming disrespectful of any victims.

I feel like I'm listening to a conversation that I would have with my own friends (if they liked true crime).

Love Them!

Bloody brilliant!

I've been listening to these girls since they started. I love how they are balanced and none judgemental and well informed. They are, obviously well regarded within the true crime podcasring genre as seen by the calibar of guests they have had even before their award , this is well deserved after years of hard work.
