Missed opportunity

I've been enjoying this series but can't help but feel the reporting is sub-par. This reached its pinnacle in the episode "You'll Meet M

Brilliant inquisitive and engaging

A fabulous and curious insight into the psychology of this moment in history, and our human need to find reason in the chaos.
And arseholes- there are some arseholes too.
Brilliant journalism, balanced exploration of a movement it’s growth and its fall out.

An episode that could have been cut to a few minutes

I believe the idea was that this was supposed to be a “glimpse behind the curtain” of making a documentary like this. Instead it was somebody showing us all the boring admin behind a documentary. It falls into the trap of the narrator introducing themselves into the narrative and making how they felt be the narrative. A shame because the story was interesting enough without this distraction.
