I've been enjoying this series but can't help but feel the reporting is sub-par. This reached its pinnacle in the episode "You'll Meet M

Missed opportunity

I believe the idea was that this was supposed to be a “glimpse behind the curtain” of making a documentary like this. Instead it was somebody showing us all the boring admin behind a documentary. It falls into the trap of the narrator introducing themselves into the narrative and making how they felt be the narrative. A shame because the story was interesting enough without this distraction.
