Brilliant! Funny LoLs!

This is a brilliant satirical series. At first I was dubious on seeing the thumbnail and title describing it as a podcast, but gave it a listen.
Like ‘The Day Today’ and ‘Alan Partridge’ featured in the first episode, this is actually a comedy series parody of a podcast, with Lolly Adefope playing herself as a deluded, clueless, self obsessed celebrity. It’s a familiar format that works well. I don’t know if it’s been written by Lolly or co-written, but it’s very funny and does a great job of ripping the proverbial out of the kind of tedious, pretentious and irritating celebrity culture that I always avoid. As ever, Lolly’s performance is infectiously funny and I’m looking forward to more.
A great listen and highly recommended.
