Good performance of a classic

The cast's performance in this classic story was brilliant. However, Mr. Dolittle's urban language colloquialisms made it challenging to understand the dialogue at times, which is not the case when reading it. Furthermore, Elisa's improved phonetic language seemed excessively forced. It would have been better if they had explored ways to make her language sound more natural and authentic to the character. Despite these issues, the overall quality of the story's performance was still impressive and worthy of listening more than once.

A good, solid classic

I enjoyed this thoroughly but would say that there are parts of the story that are dated. Of course that is bound to happen with an early 20th century play. Also, with an excellent cast.

Excellent!

I loved this, I thought that George Bernard Shaw's voice
and Stephen Fry's was very apt
for this. I did not like Eliza Doolittle's voice after her transfermation into a lady though. Thought it was a bit long.
