An absolute gem

This podcast has been literally a life saver - Danny Wallace is bloody genius the way he can have me gasping for air laughing about absolute nonsense- he never misses a trick and is so articulate and well versed in the English language and yet a totally normal guy with normal stuff going on. Steve joe and Danny have become part of my family now helping me through post cancer convalescence- I’m now on my second listen. Please never stop!!!!!! EVER

Application for Senior Listener Status

I submit for your approval my application for senior listener status with the following review:

I was looking for a new hobby, a new podcast and a new leader. I found all three and more with the Important Broadcast Podcast and the three new men in my life:

Danny "Tiddles" Wallace, The Leader who raises us up.

Joe Attewell, The Icon who lays down the beds.

Steve Ferdinando, The Ears who hears AKA The Nitwit from Billericay.

I started in Ernest at the beginning, having previously started with the controversial 251st episode. I put it on before I go to bed to ensure my subconscious fully absorbs the content, placing my listening device under my pillow, the best place for our Gold Leader's dulcet tones to send me off to slumber. I return to the beginning as soon as I wake up so I may take notes on my trusty listener pad.

The important broadcast has helped me entertain friends, family colleagues and even the occasional stranger with the wisdom the chaps have imparted upon me during "Tell me Something I don't know."I have gained almost all my peacock knowledge in particular.

I have also discovered a plethora of recipes from the Winner Dinner segment; namely a halloumi burger with red pepper and sweet chilli or a bowl of Weetabix with skimmed milk.

This podcast really has it all. I cannot wait until I've listened to all 252 broadcasts and beyond until I know them inside out verbatim, including those occasional "ums" and "ahs".

Get into the music one and all.
