• That Changed Everything: Part 1
    Jun 29 2025

Last week, we celebrated baptisms—moments that declared, “Jesus is Lord, and I’m His.” That kind of declaration? It changes everything.

But what happens next? What really changes?

This week, we look at Peter—passionate, impulsive, flawed, and deeply loved by Jesus. Peter denied even knowing Jesus at His darkest hour… and yet, Jesus didn’t leave him there. He found Peter, forgave him, and gave him a mission.

Because Jesus doesn’t just forgive our past—He redeems it.

He doesn’t just welcome us back—He recommissions us.

Just like Peter, we are invited to follow Jesus into a life of purpose, obedience, and trust. Even when it’s hard. Even when it costs us.

Your past isn’t your prison. Your present has a purpose.

    This Changes Everything.

  • Put On The Jersey (SERIES: In The Game)
    Jun 15 2025

Do you remember wearing your first jersey? That rush of excitement, the sense of pride swelling in your chest as you realized you were part of something bigger than yourself. The colors, the logo, the name on the back — it all felt like more than just clothing. It was identity. It was belonging. You stood a little taller, your heart beat a little faster, and there was this buzz of anticipation — because this meant game day was coming, and you were no longer just a fan or a spectator. You were in it. On the team. Ready to give it everything.

Baptism should stir that feeling in us. When you're baptized, scripture says you are clothed in Christ. It's your jersey moment—a declaration that you're on His team, part of His family, and ready to live with purpose. It's not just a tradition or a symbol; it's a new beginning. This is a moment that should make your heart race—not out of nerves but out of joy and anticipation. It means you're not just watching from the sidelines anymore. You belong to Jesus, and your life ahead is full of meaning, mission, and hope. You're in the game.

  • Leave It All On The Field (SERIES: In The Game)
    Jun 8 2025

The Greats step onto the field with one goal - to give everything they've got. Through sweat, sacrifice, and unrelenting effort, they push past pain and fatigue, driven by purpose and passion. Every sprint, every tackle, every moment is fueled by a desire to leave nothing in reserve. Win or lose, they know they held nothing back.

This week at BCC, we’ll see how God calls us to live with that kind of devotion. He doesn’t ask for perfection, but for everything. He gave His all for us — and now calls us to leave it all on the field for Him.

  • Training To Win (SERIES: In The Game)
    Jun 1 2025

Want to run a marathon? You’ve got two options. You can train hard—wake up early, stick to a plan, push through discomfort, and build the strength and endurance you’ll need to go the distance. Or, you can wing it—jog a few times, hope for the best, and cross your fingers that sheer willpower gets you through. But come race day, the truth shows up: training matters.

The same is true in your spiritual life. If you want to grow, endure challenges, and live with purpose, you have to train for it. Being a fully committed follower doesn’t happen by accident. Join us at BCC this Sunday as we talk about how being In The Game comes from training hard.

  • Fair Weather Fans (SERIES: In The Game)
    May 18 2025

We’ve all seen them come out of the woodwork — when a team wins the championship, suddenly everyone’s repping the jersey. It’s easy to jump on the bandwagon when things are going well, but few stick around through the tough seasons.

The same is true for faith—it’s easy when life is smooth, but true followers show up and stand firm when life gets tough. This week, we’ll explore whether we’re fully committed followers or maybe just Fair Weather Fans.

Remember the thrill of being at the stadium, caught up in the excitement of the game? But, by the time you’re stuck in the parking lot traffic, that passion starts to fade, and life returns to normal. Sometimes religion feels the same way — a fleeting moment, then we get back to real life. What if there was something more — what if there was a lasting, life-changing experience for those willing to get in the game?

  • Home Game Fans (SERIES: In The Game)
    May 4 2025

Have you ever walked into a church and instantly felt like you didn’t belong? Everyone around you knew exactly what to do—when to stand, when to sit, what to say, and even what to wear. Meanwhile, you're left trying to figure out what the unspoken rules are, feeling like you're the only one who missed the memo. Or maybe it was an encounter with one of those church people who made you feel like you’re the outsider in a game where the rules are already set. I’ve felt like that and it made me wonder — Is this really what faith is supposed to be like?

Maybe you grew up playing by the rules, and they feel like home. In fact, many of us have come to cherish—dare I say, venerate—the rules. They offer structure, certainty, and control. They tell us who’s in and who’s out. They measure our progress to help us feel like we’re doing it "right." For some, this sense of order becomes comforting, even necessary, and we start to believe that faith is about checking off the right boxes and keeping everything neat and tidy.

But what if God never meant for Christianity to be about following a bunch of rules? What if God wants to be so more to you than a divine disciplinarian? Join us this week at BCC as we learn that fans of the rules may not actually be followers of Jesus, and those really wondering what faith is supposed to be like may actually find an answer that satisfies.
