I wanted to like this.

I have the book, and I really enjoyed it, and when I saw that an audiobook existed I was keen to listen. I also saw a video on YouTube from the narrator, who seemed like a good person.

Sadly, the quality of the performance leaves a fair bit to be desired. basic words are mispronounced, and I'm not talking about dark souls vernacular in particular, I'm just talking about common English words. if you're unsure of something, it's easy enough to find out how it should be said before recording it.

I also found the editing very poor, with sentences almost crashing into one another when there should have been a pause. this, for me, makes it a bit of a hard listen and I've not been very impressed by it, which is a shame.
