Summary
My boss can barely stand five minutes with me.
But I wake up wearing his ring.
We had two goals for this business trip: to land a major client, and to make it through 48 hours without killing each other. So far? Only the client is a sure thing.
Because we wake up together, hungover and half dressed in my suite. So many questions. Such a freaking mess.
And I only remember snatches of last night. Giddy, colorful glimpses of dark clubs and a chapel and–oh god. Did my grumpy boss really lick tequila out of my belly button? Say it isn’t so!
It can’t be real. Must be some horrible prank.
Because he hates me. Doesn’t he?
Woke Up Wed is a short and steamy enemies-to-lovers romance, starring a repressed CEO and the assistant he’s determined to divorce… soon. Eventually.

Waking up wed… to the boss!
It’s a short but fun to read story. Retracing steps to a drunken wedding in las Vegas sounds cliché but the author makes it interesting and gives the back bones to new romance. It’s not such an enemies to lovers but grumpy boss to besoted new husband.

My Thoughts on Woke Up Wed
The story was OK for me. But I can’t really say that I loved it. It’s one of those instances in which I feel like it being a short story/novella was a hindrance. I didn’t really have a chance to connect with the characters or become invested in their happy ending. Their relationship before this trip was just mentioned here and there and not even necessarily in a good way like they had a real connection because of working together. And then their time after they wake up and basically the duration of this book I never really had that moment where I felt they got to know each other and so it made sense for them to be in love. And by the end, while I felt like the narrators did a pretty good job, the story itself was just OK. This is my second book by this author but because I liked the previous one a bit more, I would be willing to try a third, maybe longer book just to form a better opinion on whether this author is a good fit for me.

Cute Little Mystery
I've read a lot of Cassie Mint books and enjoyed them, especially The Big Boys. This one felt a little flat. There was hardly any spice, which was odd, but it was a cute story.
The narrators were enjoyable but I had to turn it 2x speed!lol Usually I listen on 1.5! Overall great little short listen! Thanks, PFP! AUDIOBOOKSOBSESSION! THEFLOCK! FLOCKVIP!!

Never read this author before, I enjoyed the story and the relationship. I thought there was something missing though. Maybe as was short and it just needed that little bit more.
At times I just wanted to shout at them both.
Was really easy to listen to the story though.

Woke up Wed-what, How
Cute short story! Effy and Guy are in Vegas for meetings. They almost cant stand each other at work. But what happens when they work up and realized they were married. They decided to try and trace their steps from the previous night. Along the way they got to know each other a bit better.
The narrators were amazing. They kept the flow of the story going.
A must read/listen

Amazing dual narration from Tyler Darby and Lexi Evans. Who bring out the humour, heat and brilliant characters.
This is a fast , romantic listen. Effy and her boss Guy are in Las Vegas for a meeting. Not a problem, until they wake up with a hangover, in the morning and wedding rings and no memory of the night before. Now the two of them find out how and what happened.
A great listen, with humour and pace.

Woke Up Wed
This was a catchy short steamy listen.
The Hangover movie vibes with 'enemies-to-lovers' romance.
Could have been a little longer so we could feel the connection between Effie and Guy better but overall a great short listen. I especially enjoyed the epilogue. The glimpse of their lives after.

Short and Steamy Enemies-To-Lovers Romance
Woke Up Wed by Cassie Mint is a short and steamy enemies-to-lovers romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Tyler Darby and Lexi Evans.
This is the second book of Cassie's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I loved the chemistry between Guy and Effie. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book.
Tyler and Lexi did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life.
I would recommend this book if you like enemies-to-lovers romance, contemporary romances, or romantic comedies.

Good
This is a short fun storyline. With a drunken mistake can these characters make it work and live with their decisions? A good performance.
