Free-spirited and easygoing Taylor Vandenberg left her hometown of Faircombe, Tennessee, as soon as she could, and in the twenty-five years since, she has rarely looked back. She wouldn't change anything about how her life has turned out—having traveled to nearly every country, never staying anywhere long enough to feel stifled. Summary
Gillian "Gem" Martin is the lead biologist at a wildlife sanctuary on the Northeast coast and head of the Wildlife Emergency Response Team called in when catastrophes, man-made or natural, threaten the endangered species she studies. Austin Germaine is a troubleshooter, the hired gun for a big oil company, whose job is to help contain leaks and prevent media coverage of a pending disaster until the danger can be eliminated. If it can be.
When Gem and Austin meet by chance in the midst of an approaching hurricane, neither expects their immediate connection to lead them into uncharted territory as wild as the looming storm. When word of the spill gets out, Gem and Austin find themselves reluctant allies in a race against time to divert the spill and save the wildlife refuge and its endangered inhabitants - all while battling an attraction as unlikely as it is powerful. A high-stakes race against time, the forces of nature, and the strongest power of all - the desire of the human heart.

Good story
A little shorter than some. I could have listened to more. And again with mispronunciations. Come on, Abby. Do your homework. But don’t let that detract from the story. Warm and fuzzy almost-love-at-first-sight story with a good performance by the narrator, bringing each character to life with subtle uniqueness.

Radcyffe never stops amazing me her large knowledge of life under stress.
Again she begin with to star crossed lovers, one working for the oil company trying to stop a spill in secret that in unchecked will head straight to the largest bird preservation the other the head of the science group sent down by our government to study the largest bird migration in North America. The two happen to meet at the airport rent car when the rest of there flight is grounded and one of them gets the last car and offers to share the long ride with the other since they are going to the same place. Keeping quiet about her oil ties and telling the bird watcher all about her other secret job as a graphic artist. Which she also is, they form a bond on the drive up and share a kiss. From there they find themselves hooked regardless of there jobs. They must go through ups and downs but love will always win oil rig problems, oil, and bad weather will not stop true love.
