Summary

Rumors travel fast in a village...

Josie loves her new life in the country with Sam. But she has a secret that she doesn’t want anyone to know. Unfortunately, it’s hard to keep anything to yourself in a tiny village.

Lizzie is adjusting to motherhood and finding it more demanding than she ever expected. Life has become a haze of sleep deprivation and dirty nappies, and it’s taking its toll on her relationship with Max.

Emily has finally got the man of her dreams. However, life with Jack isn’t as straightforward as she expected. A certain ex-girlfriend and money worries wreak havoc on their relationship.

As the three couples reunite in the peaceful Devon scenery, what better place to catch up than the local pub? There are laughs, tears, and rumors aplenty.

But one thing soon becomes clear: You shouldn’t believe everything you hear at the Bluebell Inn.

Please note: This is the fourth book in the Hope Cove series and is best enjoyed after the first three books.

Love love love this series

Another fabulous book by Hannah Ellis, sad I’ve come to the end of the series. One of my favourite narrators too.

It's ok

Straggeled to finish the book because one of main characters is just ridiculously annoying, combined with high voice narrator has selected for the character it was very irritating at times.

Delightful and compelling listen

I'm not normally a fan of sequels but this changed my mind. You know that feeling when the novel finishes and you wish you could see what happened to them after the happy ending? Mnay authors try this and sometimes it feels a bit manufactured.
This is how it should be done!
Things have moved on for Lizzie & Max, Josie & Sam and Jack & Emily but life hasn't been easy for any of them. This book shows us all three couple trying to cope and how loving relationships can be tested almost to breaking point. Hannah Ellis is such a great writer keeping the issues real and each character distinct in their reactions and voices. A great reminder of why we loved them in the first place and you really worry about how they might fare now.
I really enjoyed this so much and can't wait for more stories in Hope cope.

Humph

Such a disconnect with how Josie was portrayed here versus the last book. That bothered me for some reason. It's as if this was written by someone who just read the series.
