Summary

Best-selling author Stephanie Laurens begins a promising new series that blends romance and mystery.

Brilliant!

Initially, I purchased the abridged version of this novel. Whilst I quite enjoyed it, there was something missing. This unabridged version included all the ‘missing ‘ bits and was very much better as a result!

Recording issue

I enjoyed this book, except for the fault. The story suddenly jumped in Chapter 21. The location changed and the narrator came back in mid paragraph further into the story. Such an obvious break I can't believe it wasn't picked up.

Excellent story narrator, but issue with recording

Love Stephanie Laurens' books! A total guilty pleasure.
Simon prebble is by far and away the best narrator of her works, bringing all characters to life and reading in a very natural, flowing way... the pronunciation, inflections and even characterisation is perfect!
There was an issue with the recording/editing about 6 minutes into chapter 21, where some of the story is missing!

Chunk missing from chapter 21

Like the story and the narration is excellent, but there is a large chunk missing from chapter 21, where it just skips forward to a completely different scene
