Summary

Drawing from the horizons of science, today's leading thinkers reveal the hidden threats nobody is talking about - and expose the false fears everyone else is distracted by.

What should we be worried about? That is the question John Brockman, publisher of Edge.org, posed to the planet's most influential minds. He asked them to disclose something that, for scientific reasons, worries them - particularly scenarios that aren't on the popular radar yet. Encompassing neuroscience, economics, philosophy, physics, psychology, biology, and more - here are 150 ideas that will revolutionize your understanding of the world.

A flashback read from our dystopian Trump era

To revisit this text from the perspective of 2018 and realise how just a few short years ago, even the smartest minds around would not have worried that the leader of the "free" world would be a megalomaniac, self confessed sex pest, flipflopping liar, tweeting his governance (often from the bathroom during the early hours of the morning).

Only one of the experts suggested what we should really be worrying about was a rogue state led by an unbalanced leader. I'm pretty sure he didn't have the US in mind...
