Summary

Why are more parents choosing natural immunity for their children? When I first heard that people were purposefully not vaccinating their children, I was shocked.

Vaccines have been described as the most incredible medical invention of all time - a miracle of science and technology that has saved the lives of untold millions. I couldn’t believe that the seemingly intelligent, educated parents were purposefully foregoing vaccines for their children, and in fact, were so convinced these medical procedures were harming us, they would go out of their way to try to convince others.

When a close friend of mine told me that his infant child was not going to be vaccinated, I thought he was completely insane. After much coaxing, he convinced me to do my own research and challenge him on his beliefs.

A few months later, I had read things about vaccines and diseases that I had never heard before. Things that no one - including our pediatrician - had ever mentioned. I was convinced there was a giant conspiracy to try and discredit vaccines, but after diving headfirst into recent scientific research seldom mentioned in the news, I eventually came to believe much differently about vaccines and the diseases they are supposed to protect us from.

This short audiobook will take you along the same journey I made as I transitioned from a dedicated vaccinating parent to someone who now questions whether any vaccines are actually worth the risk, even in third world countries. It barely scratches the surface of this - the greatest debate of our time - but if nothing else, it will give you a clear idea as to why an increasing number of parents are raising their children to not be vaccinated.

Intriguing

A true eye opener. I always believe getting more information broadens ones horizon. This book does just that. It gives information and makes you think about choices you think you have and the choices you actually have.

Short, but amazing

I have listened to all of Maready's books on vaccines, and this one, while being the shortest, is probably the best. He doesn't go into as much detail in this book as he does in the other books, but he presents the information in a very impactful way. I am seriously thinking of buying 50 or 100 copies of this book and handing them out for free. Everyone should read/listen to this book.

Holy ****.

I wish I would have read this book sooner.

I occasionally like to cure a curiosity edging on my mind, usually brought about in a conversation or something stated in a debate. This book I bought to find out how some people think. I can say, these people think a lot more than what people try and make them out to be. In fact, they do think more, especially more than those who just take a narrative at face value. I got some homework to do now, and some friends to apologize to.

Vaccine Misinformation

Let me correct this author’s central misconception about vaccines. Vaccines are a safe and effective public health measure that should be used in addition to hand washing, good nutrition, clean water and other methods to prevent and treat infectious diseases. Small pox declined in prevalence and mortality but would never have been eliminated from the world without vaccination. This is another case of an internet “researcher” using innuendo and cherry-picked data to make the case against vaccination. Apparently writing for Dawson’s Creek makes you a vaccine expert who can refute doctors on vaccine use. Please cite articles more recent than 1960 and refrain from using internet stories to support your arguments. I recommend books by actual vaccine experts such as Deadly Choices and Between Hope and Fear. Vaccine misinformation has caused the COVID-19 pandemic to continue despite an effective vaccine. Mr. Maready, your vaccine misinformation has consequences that can be counted in lives lost to infectious disease.

A great introduction to the dangers of Vaccines

As a mother of a vaccine damaged child, I have been studying and researching the problems with vaccines for 30 years. I’m so thankful for this book because it gives a great introduction to the dangers of vaccines and their lack of safety trials, without being too wordy, and difficult to understand. This would be a great book to give to someone who is just beginning to look into this. Thank you Forrest, for all the work that you have done to inform and educate the public!

Comprehensive overview and well constructed narrative

This book is a great breakdown of all the key things to consider when questioning the safety and efficacy of the childhood vaccine program. You could try to sit down for a couple hours with someone to explain your concerns or you could share this book instead. It will cover all the areas of concern in an effective and comprehension way that would be difficult to cover in any conversation.

A concise must listen to get a completer view

Do not get vaccinated if you also would not take preventative chemotherapy.
First fix nutritional deficiency like vitamin A.
It is smart to critical shop around/select and not vaccinate literally poison for the sake of vaccinating.
The government provides zero protection in quality control of vaccines in fact bad policy promotes zero accountability for vaccine manufacturers since 1986 and claims are baked-in the vaccine price.
Inoculatee's can shed vaccine made disease particles and be a danger for others.
Beyond that I am anti-coercion want a country with 100% vaccinated move to China.

Recommend

Brief, educational and to the point. Parents should honestly listen and evaluate their own opinion regarding pediatric vaccinations.
