An estimated 800,000 children are reported missing each year in the United States. Only one in 10,000 are found dead. Yet unsolved child murders are almost a daily occurrence - of nearly 52,000 juvenile homicides between 1980 and 2008, more than 20 percent remain open. Great book
Not sure why other reviews claimed this was read in a ‘salacious’ manner because I found the author to be respectful of all subject matter. Very interesting book on a terrible subject. Handled well.

Brilliant story, let down by narration
This story was brilliant, hard hitting and emotional. A must for true crime fans.
However the narrator is so robotic, it was akin to listening to a Google text to speech reader (I thought it was a computer generated voice until I I checked again that it was indeed a person). Strangely in the last chapter the narrator was for more passionate and emotional. Given that the subject matter was so serious, it would have been better had such emotion been present throughout.

Very Good!
I loved this book. I felt it gave every child mentioned a name, a purpose and an identity.
I have heard of some of these cases and hope that these cases will be solved someday.

utterly sad 😔
I had heard of alot of these poor souls stories, some I had not!
Completely devastating listen...
Lets hope that through latest ancestral DNA profiling they can hunt down and hold accountable the offenders

Insolved child murders very informative in my opinion these animals that main torture and abuse young children should die never mind imprison them.
