Summary

Even the greatest tragedy can light the path to love and happiness.

Jessie Jarvis is a drifter, and when he begins work for Bill Paulson, he doesn’t imagine he’ll be staying in Daisy Creek for long. But the town captures his heart, and finally, he feels the urge to settle down.

Inspired by Bill’s marriage, Jessie places an ad for a mail-order bride, and soon he’s falling in love with Mary Marsh’s letters.

Mary’s life has been beset by tragedy, and she’s a vision of strength as she wrestles with grief over her father’s death and her mother’s resulting sickness.

A new life with Jessie in Daisy Creek could be exactly what she’s looking for: an opportunity to build a bright future in the face of tragedy.

But tragedy hasn’t finished with Mary, and when she arrives at Daisy Creek, she’s met with devastating news that sends all her plans into turmoil.

There’s a savior on the horizon, though, and as she struggles to come to terms with her new circumstances, Pastor John is shining light in the darkness - and a surprising twist in Mary’s story.

Mary has a future ahead of her, and a love story is about to unfurl...but it isn’t the one she expected, and she will have to deal with far more heartache before she can make sense of what’s truly in store for her.

Unexpected Mail Order Bride for the Pastor is an inspiring tale of love rising from the ashes. Follow Mary as she carves out a bright future in the face of tragedy, and finds love stronger than she ever imagined.

Lose yourself in the warm glow of a love that was always meant to be: click “buy now” right now. Sometimes all you need is a little faith.

Clean Historical Romance

This is the second book in the Daisy Creek Brides, a mail-order Romance. Pastor John and Mary’s story is a sweet and clean beautifully written historical romance. The characters are well developed and interesting. The storyline has drama, twists and turns, and romance. I loved this heartwarming story. Gina Dobbs did a great job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice.
