Summary

We tend to think of creativity as a totally personal internal game. It’s not. And, we don’t give enough credence to the external forces that influence our creative lives.

You’ll find this very different from other books on creativity that offer impractical or cliche creativity tips such as brainstorming, getting out in nature, or learning to meditate. Sure, those kinds of things are amazing activities, and if they work for improving your creativity, great. But, I’ve always found if I have to force myself to do them to spur creativity, I feel awkward, anxious, and definitely not creative. Then, I go back to being who I really am. If that describes you too, then this audiobook is for you.

I will not be talking about how to be creative or more creative. But I will be talking about change, culture, choices, comparison, and your capabilities. My hope in writing this book is that you will discover, accept, and manage the internal and external factors that affect your creativity so that you can fulfill your creative destiny.
