Summary
Featuring an exclusive message from the author, listen to the escapist Sunday Times best-selling debut from the nation’s best loved TV presenter, Carol Kirkwood.
One woman returns to the island that changed her life forever.
A-list actress Shauna Jackson has the perfect life. Fame, fortune, marriage. Or so it seems.
Running from a scandal, Shauna flees to the place that changed her life 20 years ago, the idyllic Greek island of Ithos.
Captivated once more by the azure seas and scented olive groves, bittersweet memories resurface of one summer, one unforgettable man and a long-hidden secret.
Shauna can escape Hollywood, but can she escape her past?

Cringey
Listening to this book gave me the same cringey vibes as the early rounds of a talent show.
It’s completely overwritten, trite and full of product placement. I found it very jarring one moment and the next realised I’d completely zoned out.

Under a Greek Moon
An enjoyable story that combined present and past, characters that came to life as the story unfolded.

I listened again in preparation for book 2!
I enjoyed the book more the 2nd time around as I last listened during lockdown when the world wasn’t a happy place and my love of Greece and not being able visit made me sad. This time it’s made me very happy as I’m going this year! I feel that I would know the characters if I met them on Skiathos!

My first taste of a Carol Kirkwood Novel
A flight of Fancy, escapism at its best, a little predictable but a feel good book

Wonderful Story
I just loved this book, in fact I really couldn't wait to hear more. I actually listen to the Hotel on the Riviera first, in hindsight if you are reading this post read Under A Greek Moon first. It just give you a little more insight to the characters.
And the narrator fitted the part totally.
Can't wait for number three as I am sure there will be.
