Summary
What is a USP?
USP stands for unique selling proposition (or point), and every business needs one. It’s easy to spot a USP once you see one in action. It’s the service or product that you offer that no other business is currently offering to its clients. It’s what your business stands for. It’s how you’re different.
Your USP is why consumers should do business with you instead of the competition. It’ll also be the reason they keep coming back to your business.

30 minutes of savy advice for business marketing
The author outlines a clear and concise way to define your company’s unique selling point (USP). I like how they list dos and don’ts of a selling proposition and then illustrates each one with a real brand example. Giving even more value, the author goes further to explain how to apply your USP to your marketing campaigns. Overall, after listening to this book, I feel confident I can set my business apart from my competitors.
I also really enjoyed the narrator’s voice. It was encouraging and approachable. Some business books can sound too grandiose or arrogant.

Short but helpful
Good listen and the advice rings true. I found the break down of different companies USP and exploration of how each company leveraged these ideas very helpful. I would have liked a much deeper dive into each example. The narration was clear with good cadence. I was convinced he also has interest in the subject.
