About this listen
Two Iron Druid short stories available in audio for the first time, narrated by Luke Daniels!
"Kaibab Unbound" occurs just a couple of weeks before the events of Hounded, book one of the series. Before Atticus gets drawn into the battles of gods and monsters, he has to protect one of the earth's elementals from an accomplished coven that wants to steal its power for their own.
The events of "A Test of Mettle" happen concurrently with book three of the series, Hammered, as Granuaile MacTiernan and Oberon discover that Atticus doesn't have the final say over who can become a Druid's apprentice.
These stories serve both as an introduction to the New York Times best-selling series and as exciting background for longtime fans.

I just couldn't wait!
If you could sum up Two Tales of the Iron Druid Chronicles in three words, what would they be?
Oberon and sausages
What did you like best about this story?
As always, Luke Daniels brings the world of the Iron Druid to life with a bang. Even though the book is quite short, it will keep me going until the next installment.
Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances? How does this one compare?
He is in my top 5 narrator list, and he nails everything he reads IMO
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I've become very attached to Oberon, and when he is compromised, I tend to feel a little angry and upset. So yes
Any additional comments?
So long between novels, but this scratched my itch. For now
