About this listen

When the late J. Krishnamurti was heralded as a vehicle for leading humanity into a new age, he repudiated the notion, saying, "Truth is a pathless land, you can't approach it by any religion or sect. You are accustomed to being told how far you have advanced, what your spiritual state is - how childish. Who but yourself can tell whether you are beautiful or ugly within."

Krishnamurti wrote and lectured for seven decades on the essential problems of the human condition. This conversation is no exception.

In this second dialogue with host Michael Toms, produced a year later in 1984, Krishnamurti addresses love, greed, violence, separation, time, death, conflict, and fear, discussing them all with a clarity and insight that makes the entire spiritual landscape appear newly visible and replete with possibilities. Krishnamurti also has much to say about the source of our problems, both personal and planetary, with appropriate comments on how to resolve them.

This is a priceless visit with an illuminated mind. Acknowledged as one of the greatest religious teachers of this or any other age, the late J. Krishnamurti was a visionary whose ideas are still ahead of his time.

Worthwhile listening, but not the best

A bit scanty and piecemeal on the whole and not much in the way of addition to the ideas presented in his books, which are naturally much fuller in terms of explanation and logical progression. Still worth a listen though, especially for 60 pence!

Excellent

Another J Krishnamurti masterpiece, a very useful information on how to discover our inner self.
