Summary

Im Hamburger Hafen läuft das Kreuzfahrtschiff "Große Freiheit" ein. An Bord: ein toter Passagier - verstorben an einem geheimnisvollen Virus. Bald herrscht Panik in der Stadt. Kriminalkommissar Adam Danowski, der eigentlich am liebsten am Schreibtisch ermittelt, wird an den Schauplatz beordert. Er kommt einem Verbrechen auf die Spur, das noch unzählige Tote zu fordern droht. Doch das unter Quarantäne gestellte "Pestschiff" darf keiner verlassen, selbst Kommissare nicht, und Danowskis Gegner sorgen mit aller Macht dafür, dass dies so bleibt...
