About this listen
In cases of severe trauma, the spiritual dimension of the healing process is often the most mysterious. James Finley is quite special
I have listened to his section of this audiobook many times and find it both gently consoling, and touching on a profound reality, at one and the same time. There is a heartfelt music in his words which appeals to me a great deal.

most profound book I have ever read
This has got to be the most profound book I have ever read in that it delivers such a simple truth, if you are ready for it. I am blown away by what this book has helped me achieve in myself just by listening in the car and before bed and then contemplating each part. I have repeated some parts over and over the message is zinging me that much. I cried at the end, thank you Caroline & James

Some amazing insights
I found Transforming Trauma to be an amazing book. Caroline Myss presents the first and last chapters, while James Finley talks for the main part of the presentation. They both gave me some wonderful insights through their own unique ways of presenting.
I find Caroline Myss isn't always the easiest person to listen to, mostly because she says things that I may not always want to hear even though they ring true. She's definitely someone that tells it how it is, however after listening to a few of her presentations now, I've started to comprehend where she's coming from and gleaned some amazing insights from her.
I found James Finley's presentation to be very gentle, though his words were very deep and profound. Listening to his life, experiences and insight brought about in me a profound respect for him.
Both he and Caroline's insight have opened me up to looking at not only my own experiences, but also life in a different and more profound way, which for me really has been a way of transforming my traumas.

Love Myss, but hated this
I love the work of Caroline Myss and have a vast amount of her work in my collection.
However, I didn't enjoy this as James Finley nearly sent me into a coma.
If you can stay awake through 5 chapters (several hours) of the co author to get to the Myss parts, well you might get something from this -- but quite frankly, the same information is better gleaned elsewhere.

The last 8 mins of this audio sums it up
I listened to this audio over a number of weeks, two different speakers and to be honest I didn't quite understand until it got to the last 8 mins which explains why the book is called what it is.
