About this listen
The now widely known map of calibrated levels of consciousness was presented in Power vs. Force in 1995 and has been translated into all the world's major languages.
This was followed by The Eye of the I (2001), I: Reality and Subjectivity (2003), and Truth vs. Falsehood (2005), which explored the levels of truth reflected throughout society. Transcending the Levels of Consciousness returns to the exploration of the ego's expressions and inherent limitations and gives detailed explanations and instructions on how to transcend them.
As with the listening of Dr. Hawkins' previous books, the listener's level of consciousness is advanced as a consequence of exposure to the information itself. This opens up avenues to the relief of suffering for oneself and others, which fulfills the purpose of the work and the intention to facilitate the listener's own enlightenment.

wow
i take the calibrations with a pinch of salt, as i dont understand them. but everything else is fantastic. highly informative & interesting. i can see why cynical people would dislike the book, but because i am already at a place of great acceptance & faith, it rings true on so many levels and further illuminates the "path". will be re-listening many times.
the author is clearly hugely intellectual, and is also describing things from a state of enlightenment where words arent always able to do full justice to the experience, so some parts took me a couple of rewinds to wrap my developing mind around 😅 i guess im saying you might have to be smart to understand some bits, which is a hurdle im sure the author did not consider, seeing as we seekers come from all levels of intelligence. maybe being a md with a phd means you forget to use simple terms?

I sorry, but this was offensive to any Muslim
in the first section, you mentioned christ, Buddha, yet you didn't mention prophet Muhammad : the people with raised consciousness.
then you said islamic bombings, terrorism... the writer is biased and I wish you were more open minded than your ego wants you to believe. underlying racism, I can't imagine how many people listened and now subconsciously think Islam is a religion of violence. sorry but the main principle in islam is "if you kill 1 man, it is like you have killed mankind.
