Summary

Per chi ama il mare e i racconti d'avventura "Tifone" è il romanzo che ci vuole. Conrad conosce il mare, ha scritto molto sul mare e questo può essere a ragione considerato uno dei suoi capolavori in assoluto. Di fronte ad un cataclisma metereologico come un uragano nel Mar della Cina, il Nan Shan, la nave del capitano McWhirr e del suo equipaggio, si difende come può...ma alla fine sopravvive.

La tensione che anima il libro cresce gradatamente dalle prime pagine fino alla conclusione e se il libro fosse stato più lungo probabilmente non sarebbe stato possibile per il lettore reggerla oltre. Nella lettura di Moro Silo si viene coinvolti negli avvenimenti narrati come se si vivessero in prima persona.
