Editor reviews

This moving story from Rudyard Kipling is made all the more poignant thanks to the performances of Walter Zimmerman and Cindy Hardin Killavey. They, a story which has a touching connection to Kipling's own life, follows a man who has lost his way driving across Sussex. He happens upon an estate populated by playing children and a blind caretaker. The man and caretaker share a genial conversation, and then he sets back out on his path. Several weeks later, however, the man finds himself returning to the estate. With a clever delineation of facts and information, listeners soon realize what it is that keeps calling the man back to this mysterious but beautiful estate.

Very strange... started really well actually. Then it got a little stranger and stranger... and the ending was completely non-sensicle to me!
Maybe it needs a second listen, or I just missed something completely!
