A pleasant journey in to Peter's vet life.

I have listened to this Audible book twice and enjoyed his book especially with the familiar voice of Christopher Timothy. Thank you to you both.

Herriot's legacy is in safe hands.

Really enjoyable and insightful with plenty of laughs along the way. Alf and Donald would approve.

Definitely not disappointing

I loved every minute of this book. It has the usual lovely narration from Christopher Timothy who did the ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ series.

Great book. Utterly enjoyable.

Great book in the tradition of James Herriot and his fellow vets who loved Yorkshire, it's people and animals.

The book gives us many a update on past matters regarding Mr Alf Wright and his associates - and much, much more. The book on its own is very entertaining, very informative about how things are changing and includes some events that gives made news, while others have not - but are just as interesting.
.
I hope there is another book some day from this vet. I will one of many waiting for it to arrive in shops, if it comes about. I cannot say anything bad at all about this book. I loved it. I'm just sorry it ended. More please?

A good book but remember it is an autobiography

Some critics say the book is all about Peter Wright not vet stories. To those i say “This is an autobiography”. Bear this in mind and it is a good read especially for those who have watched the TV series. It is about an ordinary humble man pushed into the limelight by TV but it still has that human humble touch.
