Great book
The material is great no doubt about it
but the narrator sometimes is over dramatic, which is not suitable for the material, although the performance is good in general.

Classic book; appalling narration
It is bewildering how Lee Winfield has created such dull and lfeless narration of such luminous prose, especially considering how 'The Varieties of Religious Experience' are the texts of public lectures and William James was himself renowned as a captivating speaker. Oh, for a time-machine to go back and record James giving these talks in 1902, and spare us from this dreadful reading of a classic book.
