Summary

In the wilderness, Satan tempted Jesus in the most unlikely ways - through independence, religion, and success. The enemy's goal for us is the same, convincing us to enjoy the gifts of this world while making the Giver optional in our quest for life. But by learning to live in the Spirit, lies are exposed, and moments of temptation are turned into powerful displays of conviction and character, bringing us closer to Jesus and who we are to become. Then temptation, through the victory of Jesus, can become an opportunity that slingshots our faith into a place where we can actively experience freedom in the Spirit.

Practical and Deeply Encouraging

This is a book for everyone.
We are all prone to fall prey to lies and this book does a great job of exposing how this happens and what we can do about it (or rather what Jesus has done to help us).

I thought the narration was pretty good.
My final point is that the book does talk down at you but comes alongside you and does so in a way that helps you have hope despite your flaws.

I highly recommend this!
