Historically classic writing

These stories were decent to listen to though they did seem to be a little long winded style. To be honest this was the style of the day and should not be measured by today's standards.

Having seen the movies but never read the books I found them interesting. While the characters seemed mild by the standard of today they provided a window into the thinking of H. G. Wells.

Overall the books were good but not overly great. The narration was outstanding though I have to say I don't know what the accent of English gentlemen would have been in the 1890s I assume this approximation is close.

This book was provided free of charge with the expectation of an honest review.
