Summary
It’s time to take back what the devil has stolen and put God back into our culture.
The Theft of America’s Soul is a prophetic wake-up call for all who desire to see our nation thrive, challenging listeners to exchange these 10 lies for truths that will bring peace of mind, harmony, and prosperity back to our country - an invitation to experience the life-giving, peace-filling, wholly-transforming love of God.
Phil Robertson, patriarch of A&E’s Duck Dynasty and one of the most recognized voices of conservative Christianity in America, believes that little by little, generation by generation, America has allowed the lines of morality, decency, and virtue to be erased. Our values have disappeared as we began to believe lies - such as that God is dead, truth is relative, and unity is impossible - that have brought discord, division, and protest. But Phil also believes that things can change.
Writing with captivating storytelling and unflinching honesty, Phil shows how to make America a God-honoring nation once more: by dropping the 10 central lies that rule our day, including
- God is dead
- There is no Devil
- Truth is relative
- Sex is for self-gratification

Mr. Robertson is a straight shooter
This is the first book of Mr. Robertson’s that I’ve read (listened to on Audible). I found it more enjoyable because he reads his story. Secondly I like that Phil has no qualms about telling things as they are. He didn’t sugar coat any of his life stories. As I heard of his early life with Miss Kate, I can hardly wait to see if she’s written a book. That woman was a saint even at a very young 14,15, and 16 years old.
The book went quickly (too quickly almost!) and I can hardly wait to buy another from Mr. Robertson or any other members of his family or acquaintances. Overall, the book gets an A+ for his true teaching of the “real” American history, Constitutional rights, and how our forefathers intelligently set up and designed our constitution to keep futures governments from taking away those given rights and overstepping its bounds. Sad to say, Mr. Robertson is correct, those rights are slowly being squeezed out because we don’t speak up to keep them and mainstream pop culture has lost sight of what those are and how they got here. The book made me reflect and realize just how far things have deteriorated (little by little, one by one) since the early 1960’s. Good book - very deep!

Convicted
I bought this book today and finished this book today. I came away feeling convicted. I had been forced to come face-to-face with the slacker in me. I recognize my negligence has contributed to the state of this country. That’s a good thing because it motivates me to do something. It makes me wanna fulfill my purpose of the great commission.
Phil nailed it, the lies and the Truth. I’m gonna make a difference, in my fear, I’m gonna make a difference. The US needs our Christian voices and actions more today than I can ever remember in my lifetime. This book was my wake up call.

Phil Robertson exposes the lies of the devil
Phil Robertson is in a no holds barred death match with the lies of the devil. I found it very interesting that Phil was able to persuade me to change my thinking. He did a great job of pointing out the lies that Satan pushes like a proficient drug dealer. Satan is Giving people what will ultimately kill them and not what is good for them. I found Phil's personal true life stories the most persuading of his arguments. He does lay a lot of facts out some opinions and a lot of scripture. But, Indid not feel as if he was preaching to me. His approach I received from the perspective that Phil truly loves people and does not want them to be easily guided away to the many wide paths that lead to the destruction of people's souls. Phil cares about people probably the only way he knows how, plain and simple, NOT politically correct, but from his heart.

Well done Phil.
An excellent book that confronts the lies that seek to upend and destroy the judeo Christian worldview that made America the land of the free and the home of the brave. Phil Robertson shares his family, his heart and soul, and a practical daily faith to those he encounters along the way. You will be incredibly surprised by what you read in this book. Most of all Jesus is lifted up and glorified as the truth and the only way to be set free.

Let the TRUTH be Told & Heard
I never watched much Duck Dynasty. My youngest Grandson & I were discussing what's wrong with Our World. He came across this & asked me to read it. This is extremely well written & read. A great read that needs to be acted on by all!
