Not great
It was just meh!! I’m so glad that I wasn’t wasted a credit on this title?!! Also, I didn’t vibe with the narrators. I had to speed up the audio more than normal to get through it.

Well rounded story
Loved the storyline, narrators, characters, it's like having a movie play out in my head, Loved that the Latin culture is so similar to my own carribean one 😀 ❤️

Unashamed chick-lit. Great to listen to on long, tedious journeys. A little clunky with the telling of the pre-story.

Disappointed
Just read very similar story, right down to the “surprise “, just different author and different character names. Can’t believe that no-one in the huge number of people mentioned in the acknowledgments hadn’t read the same. Sometimes I wonder if there’s a catalogue that authors choose their plot from, a ready-made template. Sorry, I don’t like giving bad reviews but I do use them when I’m choosing to,spend money on a book. I got to listen to this for free on the Plus Catalogue, I wouldn’t have been so harsh if I’d read this one first but it was well below the standard of the other so not recommending it.
