Summary

After an unprecedented, relentless four-year investigation, the long-anticipated Starr Report arrived in 36 boxes to the House of Representatives on September 9, 1998. The report brought to a close the first chapter in the saga of the trials and tribulations of the Clinton presidency. But most importantly, it was a prime piece of evidence in the subsequent impeachment hearings.

A government document that is an actual page turner!

Being a nerd for history, I love reading various documents that were written in a given era. I’ve read essays, government documents, even memoirs by famous and obscure individuals. As far as government reports are concerned, it’s no secret that they can be dry and hard to finish reading. But the Starr Report was a rare exception. I will go as far as saying that this was one of a few official government documents that is a page turner. I couldn’t put it down!

Interesting

This book gave great detail and timelines. I do however wish audible carried more titles.
