Summary

One lied. One died. When one sister dies, the other must go to desperate lengths to survive.

After a tragic accident, still haunted by her twin sister's death, Abi is making a fresh start in Bath. But when she meets siblings Bea and Ben, she is quickly drawn into their privileged and unsettling circle. When one sister lies, she must protect her secret at all costs.

As Abi tries to keep up with the demands of her fickle friends, strange things start to happen - precious letters go missing, and threatening messages are left in her room.

Is this the work of the beautiful and capricious Bea? Or is Abi willing to go to any lengths to get attention? When the truth outs, will either sister survive?

Psychological Thriller, really?

This book is engaging, that is true. I kept listening, waiting for the promising twists, turns and then the end.. All strange characters, undeveloped shallow creatures. I can't say I agree with any of the favourable reviews... it's reminded me of a Bouquet of Barbed Wire. A complete let down.

I don't see the point of this book

I hate writing negative reviews but... I really don't see the point of this book at all. I didn't finish it, I got 7 hours in and thought "There is no plot"... it was literally like a fly on the wall in a house where I didn't care about any of the characters and we just kept hearing about the fact a twin had died.... which is clear from the cover. I don't understand how this is a book? The plot must have included two sentences... as I don't know the ending I can't comment on it but honestly, what a total waste of time. This isn't a story at all... it's boring beyond belief. Sorry but I'd give this a hard pass.

What a twist!!

This was my first audible book and it didn't disappoint. The accents where a bit iffy, however, I love the narrators soft Scottish accent. The story line was slow to start off with but the twists and finale were amazing. I liked it so much so I am downloading the second book right now.
