Fantastic
I really enjoyed this book . A lovely story with great characters. I would love a sequel to this one so we can see what happens to all the characters.

Outstanding story and narration
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Veronica Henry never disappoints and this will be a story I listen to over and over. Congratulations to the narrator who brought the book to life and read the story with such tenderness. It really was excellent.

Riveting read!
Loved the relationships between the characters. The focus on family values and community was wonderful. Last but not least
the suspense was incredible! I had to stop myself from wanting to read the ending because I didn’t know if I would have the patience to wait! Apart from Woody’s voice, the narration was excellent!

The characters. All believable and likeable.
Give up the past. Enjoy it-but it’s gone. Do not regret. The future is all that is important and is what we have.

As usual sublime storytelling from this author. The characters and the plot were believable and I felt drawn in from the beginning and that I wanted to invest my time in them.
