About this listen
Torn between two realms, the fate of a kingdom and my father hang in the balance…
I need my mate—a darkly dangerous fae prince—more than ever.
And he needs me to help claim his throne.
But Ruskin is gone.
Disappeared into a place most dare not speak of.
There isn’t time to mourn.
In the human realm, a cruel king holds my father captive.
While in the fae realm, Ruskin’s mother, Evanthe, is determined to use her corrupted magic to wreak havoc on the Seelie Court.
Suddenly, something is changing in me.
And I’m afraid that as my powers become more fae, I’ll become just as cruel and violent as the worst of them.
Especially when a terrifying new prophecy comes to light.
Ruskin and I might not be the ones to save the fae…but the ones destined to destroy them.

Fantastic conclusion to series
This is the third book in the series and absolutely cannot be read as a standalone!
I have loved every minute of listening to this series and have panted for the conclusion. I'm so glad I got the ending I wanted. Action. Romance. Intrigue. Lots of fae lore and history. The series is solid.
The narrator was amazing. She handled many characters well and brought the words to life.

Solid ending to the series
I have enjoyed this series overall and although this book didn't grip me as much as the first one, the narration was still engaging and it was a good listen. I was surprised that Ella and Ruskin overcame the first couple of obstacles relatively quickly (finding Ruskin in Interra and then the memory loss). I loved Ruskin's initial introduction in book one and would have enjoyed seeing more of that side of him as well as seeing him fall in love with Ella again. The bond seemed to do that for him though and I never really felt that they were truly apart for long.
There was still plenty of things I enjoyed like the brutal fae version of lacrosse, Parsley and then the King's Justice later on. I actually really liked the concept of healing any battle scars from the Justice as once the matter was dealt with everyone moved on. Although I'm still not over Halima I did appreciate all the extra Destan though as he is so much fun.

Love this series!
Fantastic romantasy- I have read this book previously and loved it but with the audio books it frees you up to do other stuff while you're listening, so I have been getting into them more lately.
Highly recommend this entire series (this is book 3) as the characters, magical system and how the story develops just draws you in and keeps you guessing.

The Realm that falls to her
I enjoyed reading the ebook and also enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The story is the exciting conclusion to the Gold Weaver trilogy. I was on the edge of my seat for much of this story, worried for the characters I've become fond of over the course of this series.
