This was one of my anticipated books of 2025 and I was not disappointed! This is the final book in The Goode Brothers Series.

Isaac and Jensen’s story was incredibly heartfelt and full of chemistry, banter and so many different emotions. I laughed with these characters, cried with them and healed with them too.

This audiobook was incredible and the narration was perfection! Teddy Hamilton and Dane Anderson were the perfect fit for Isaac and Jensen.

I felt like Teddy embodied Isaac perfectly and was exactly how I imagined him to be. This was my first time listening to Dane, but I was obsessed with his narration! The sheer emotion he put into this performance was incredible.

Loved having Ava Lucas on this book too! This was my first time hearing her and I think she’s incredible.

Sara knocked it out of the park with this story and she wasn’t lying when she said it would hurt, but the hurt was worth it! I absolutely loved this journey from start to finish and I think this is a story that’s going to stick with me for years to come.

Can’t wait to revisit this series again!!

I was looking forward to this book and it did not disappoint. This story took me on such an emotional ride and listening to the audiobook just made all the more of an impact. There was great chemistry between the main MMCs and the relationship development felt natural even though they went at a fast pace.

This story deals with heavy themes and I thought the author gave these topics the care they needed. It is difficult to not have a real emotional response to this story as you can't help but care about the characters and what they are going through.

I loved the family scenes and dynamics and how everyone from the previous books were finally reunited.

I enjoyed the HEA for the couple. I would love if there was ever an overall bonus HEA novella/epilogues where all the family had POVs and interacted with each other more but happy enough with how this series has ended.

This was my first MM audiobook and it did not disappoint. Jensen and Isaac’s relationship is full of chemistry, angst and heartbreak. Teddy and Dale portrayed the couple beautifully and Sara’s writing, as always, leaves you wanting more. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and it will definitely be a re listen in the future.

I'm honestly at a loss for words. If I could rate this higher than 5 stars.. I would. This book touches upon such raw and real struggles, torment, suffering and abuse. and in the throes of all of that, Isaac and Jensen find eachother. Its a journey of a lot of healing, eachother and themselves and facing their pasts, present and future. the book wasn't an easy ride, it put me through the motions and tore out my heart (ultimately put it back together). I swooned, I laughed, I cried, I got mad and then I swooned some more. Isaac and Jensens story is unlike any other and I've never felt such intense pride for 2 book characters than I have for them. this is a 5 star book BUT Dane Anderson and Teddy Hamilton executed and performed this impeccably, their performance flowed naturally and they carried the tone and cadence so well, it delivered the emotions that it was supposed to. they hit me right in my heart. And their chemistry and tension? absolutely UNMATCHED. the spice in this book wasn't just downright dirty, it was powerful and meaningful in ALL the right places. the best book I've read AND listened to this year. thank you immensely Sara Cate! and thank you Dane and Teddy for bringing Jensen and Isaac to such life.

Sara Cate’s “Goode Brothers” series is among my all-time favorites, and this book, with its exceptional writing, intricate plot, and complex characters, is a prime example of why. This book is Isaac’s story, the youngest Goode brother, and the one who got away, or rather ran away and became a country music artist, Theo Vigil, a rising star. Introduced in the earlier books with brief glimpses into his life and relationship with his brothers. All that left you wanting to know more, or rather needing to know more, and Cate delivers, in a way, bringing us full circle. Isaac is not out in the public eye, since maintaining a certain image for his fans was important, but it is getting harder for him, and he is living a lonely life. That changes for him after meeting Jensen Miles, someone he met after his show and felt an instant connection with. Jensen Miles lives and works in Isaac’s hometown, but he comes with baggage, secrets and past demons. It was great getting to know these characters, both amazing, solid characters, despite their hardships and upbringing. I loved watching them get to know each other and see their relationship morph into something so much more. Cate weaved a complex and mighty fine web around these two, bringing their two worlds together and showing they have a lot more in common. It was also great to see the Goode brothers come together and watch the estranged Isaac reunite with his family, Truett excluded, mostly anyway. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all played out, with a perfect balance of drama, angst, some heartrending moments, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Sara Cate, thank you for this amazing story, series and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Teddy Hamilton, Dane Anderson, and Ava Lucas did a fantastic job voicing the characters and delivering a perfect portrayal of each. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Hamilton nailed it as Isaac and Anderson as Jensen, delivering amazing performances, grasping every aspect of their character’s personality and demeanor, as well as their every emotion. Ava Lucas jumps in covering various female roles and was just as amazing. These superbly talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers, and their riveting performance keeps you glued to the story.

I was so excited for this book but wasn't entirely sure what to expect from it, and I really enjoyed their story!

I love how Isaac's music calls to Jenson even before they meet!!

I love their flirty banter, they just work so well together!

I loved the way the series wrapped up. It was really well written and it was so nice seeing everyone together ❤️

The narrators for this are sooo freaking good!!! I loved doing an audio reread, I feel like this added an extra dimension to the story!
