I swoon!

The character development was incredibly fluid. I loved the storyline and the plot twists. I demand this becomes a Netflix series so I can binge watch!

More Bold and Beautiful

Well part 2 of this series had me laughing, seeing red and cussing, feeling sympathy, empathy and cheering!
The once spoiled couple are changed people, but it would appear are surrounded by some who don’t like change.
JJ McAvoy has once again laid it all out there. I’m so glad she addressed the racism but didn’t let Odette dwell on it, she just educated Gale. That was good.
And the narrators Shane East and Wesleigh Siobhan stepped up to the plate and delivered.

Enjoyed It

This love story takes a lovely, romantic look into a monarchy. It also reveals a very timely look into the constraints expectations put on monarchs.
Would you really want to be a princess? Our heroine loves enough to decide she does. He decides he loves enough to let her go if she can’t. Not a cliffhanger but the story does continue. Can’t wait for next book!

Another great JJ McAvoy book!

This author knows how to bring the laughs, the tears and the drama. and these narrators know how to bring it to life. If you loved the first book, you will adore this one, too. The struggles seemed so real, not just everyone loving Odette immediately; there were times I thought, "I would just leave. This is too much." It was very realistic. I'm forcing myself to wait to buy the third book after my next credit arrives, but I may not make it. Highly recommend!

Made for TV Movie

I have listen to this series three times. It needs to be made into a TV movie. I got ideas for who should play the roles. Best series ever.

Didn't Love It

As much as I was excited to start book 2 of this series, admittedly I did not enjoy this book as much as the first one and was ready to tap out before the midpoint. Instead I took some time off and then went back. And again, I was ready to tap out. However, with less than 4 hours left I finally started connect and engage but I was frowned up and angry about the treatment of the female lead, Odette 90% of the reaming time of the book.  Listening to this book made me really feel so sad for our real life black Duchess of Sussex Megan Markel, who I think this book was loosly based on. If she went through half of this stuff, no one could fault her for leaving those crazy people in that crazy country and I am so happy that Prince Harry chose her over them because...F THEM and their hateful selves. The last 40 minutes or so of the book saved the day and helped this book get one of its stars back because yeah.. I didn't life. I am however invested at this point, so book 3 here I come.

Ps: Shane and Wesleigh did an amazing job!
