Kindness is not inaction it is powerful

So let's get some things out of the way; the affirmations and positivity genre is littered around the corners of Audible, YouTube, and everywhere in between. This is why I honestly was trepidatious in going into this book. But I gave it a shot and boy am I glad I did.

First of all the narrator was literally flown in by chopper disturbing his motivational talk during a New Age ceremony in L.A. He is pleasant to listen to, while not being monotone and brings authority to the book through his tonality. Think an older, wiser Owen Wilson.

Now to the book. Rachel Riggio did an admirable job writing it. The phrases are carefully chosen and have deep meanings, which I believe it sets it apart.

To end it, think of how the world would be, feel, and become if we all were just a bit more kind to one another. This book delivers on this message and does it wholeheartedly as for me show my kindness in the form of 5 out of 5.

best affirmation book yet!

This was a perfect book to pick me up and help me really soak up kindness, which I super need haha :) I liked how there was some science to the affirmations beforehand so I felt like I knew why we were doing this anyway and then I really enjoyed the layout of the book with each day repeating the phrases several times in a row before moving on, I liked the narration too! Get this book if you want actual results!

The Power in Being Kind is amazing!

This book is definitely what the world needs. A lot of change can happen in people when we promote kindness through our words and actions, and this book hit it right on the head especially when it comes to kids who one day will be adults. Each page will soothe your heart and spirit. I would have this in my library today!!

Why should you be kind?

A quick look at the science of kindness and why it's so important to treat others and ourselves with compassion. He mentioned that kindness increases our attractiveness, which I agree with. There includes a list of affirmations from which you can pick one each day to start cultivating compassion and increasing your self-esteem, confidence, and happiness. A delightful, easy-to-listen audiobook for anybody seeking a healthy human life or a reminder to stay kind even when the world attempts to change you.

Who you truly are

This was such an inspirational audiobook. The biggest takeaway was to allow kindness in your heart for those who had hurt you in the past. I have felt much more positive since following the 14 day programme. It has made such a difference to think with a kindness mindset.

Inspiring!

The way the wolrd began to change when I started listening to these affirmations was inspiring. The feeling of kindness is so powerful in changing your view on the world. I really liked the way this audiobook didn't just spit out random affirmations but it had structure and repetition. Highly recommend!

This book is simply moving....

This book is simply beautiful, the affirmations are so delightful, you feel the power of every spoken word from the inside out.
I think everyone should own a copy of this book, and that’s no over exaggeration. Just think of what a better place this world would be if people practiced kindness in this way.
This book really touched my heart with encouraging and beautifully written affirmations, that guide you on a journey of peace and compassion.
I highly recommend using these affirmations, to start your day, it will set you up for a highly positive one. You won’t be disappointed!

Just what the world needs

The world can use a lot more kindness and the book explains very well that it starts with us. In order to make a big impact, we have to take the smaller steps back. This book did a great job in talking about the benefits of kindness and even some of the physical changes that people can see that I didn't know about. I also really liked how the author put the importance of being kind to yourself as equally important. More self-love!

powerful!

I am a kind person...when it comes to others however I find it difficult to be kind to myself often.
I found the affirmations really helpful as a reminder to be kind to myself as I am to others.

I have already started the affirmations routine and they get to easier to practise as the days go by.

If you need to learn how and why to kind to yourself and others then this book is for you.

Science behind kindness

I really enjoyed the science behind acts of kindness and learning about the hormones that are triggered when you are kind. The affirmations are a bonus.

I like how the book is broken down making it easy to find the day you need.
