Summary

The friendly piano is thrilled when a young musician named Katie first presses its keys. As Katie and the piano become daily companions, her musical skills grow and grow. Together, they play beautiful music to match her every mood.

But when Katie moves away for college, the piano is left behind, untouched and silent. What happens next helps the piano - and young listeners - see learning as a never-ending cycle and music as a lifelong source of joy.

We absolutely loved this book.

We have 2 children. One has already taken to music and the other is well on his way. This is a delightful story told interestingly enough through the eyes of the family's piano. a young girl, Katie, sits at her piano to take lessons and from there ... well, you'll have to read it and find out. Thank you Ms. Smith, you've given us a fun gift to share with our littles.
