Build Your Garden of Eden

This audiobook introduces the beauty of organic fresh fruits and vegetables. Having a Garden of Eden in your backyard or balcony would be nice. That’s where this book can help provide a good beginning lesson on developing an organic garden at home. I use this book in the classroom as an informational resource. Students today prefer the audio version of the book and use a journal to write their notes as they listen.

Permaculture is a holistic, living-in-harmony-with-nature worldview and a technical approach to how to do so. It is the conscious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive systems that have the diversity and stability of natural ecosystems. The harmonious integration of people and landscape to provide their food, energy, and shelter as well as other material and nonmaterial needs.

Permaculture has significantly influenced the discussion of sustainable agriculture and green living. Permaculture was a social movement that began underground, but its ideas and concepts are now more widely accepted.

Growing your high-quality foods can also use aquaponic water recycling systems to save on water and the need for watering times. My math students complete the math calculations for designing the landscape and treating the soil with nutrients.

Great book

As someone who has considered wanting to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle but wasn't sure how to get started with gardening, this book has been an eye-opener for me. It's packed with everything I need to know to get started with my own permaculture garden, even if I have no previous experience or skill level. What I love most about this book is how it goes beyond just teaching me how to grow local, fresh, organic produce. It also explores the underlying ethics of permaculture, which center around how we connect to one another and to our planet. This is so important in our industrialized world, where it can be easy to feel disconnected from the natural world. Reading this book has reminded me of the importance of living in harmony with nature and has given me the tools to do so through permaculture gardening. "The Permaculture Project" has been an invaluable resource for me as I begin my journey towards living a more sustainable lifestyle. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to grow their own organic produce while benefiting the environment and connecting with nature.
